Cale Renollet is Vice President of the KHP Reel Deal.  He is 17 years old and attends Newton High School.  Cale started fishing at age three and joined the Wichita Junior Bass Club when he was six.  Since that time he has won numerous club tournaments.  He has competed in four Kansas State Championships and has earned the title of Kansas State Champion in 2004 and 2005.  This allowed Cale to fish in two Jr. Bassmaster Classics with the Bassmaster pros.  In 2004, he fished with Mike Reynolds in Pittsburgh, PA and in 2005 he was paired with Ish Monroe in Kissimmee, FL.  In 2008, Cale took second place in the Kansas State Championship.  In the off season, Cale spends his free time hunting big game, waterfowl, and upland birds.  He has worked at a local meat market since he was 14 to support his fishing habit.  Cale lives in Newton with mom and older sister.  Cale says he owes grandpa for taking him fishing all these years and giving him the fundamentals to succeed in the world of bass fishing.  Since joining KHP Reel Deal, Cale has participated in the Wichita Association for Retarded Children (ARC) Car Show in May, a C.A.S.T. event in June at El Dorado Lake, and “Cruisin” in The Jungle” Father’s Day car show sponsored by the Sedgwick County Zoo and ARC.  He also worked the mobile tank sponsored by Kansas Fish and Game at the Wichita River Festival.  Cale  assisted with a kids fishing day during a “Walk on the Wild Side” event at the Great Plains Nature Center sponsored by the Wichita Eagle.  He worked the Casting Kids event at Derby Summer Fest and the trout tank sponsored by Make A Wish at the Kansas Sports Boat and Travel Show.  Cale walked in parades to promote the C.A.S.T. for Kids Foundation and the KHP Reel Deal youth fishing organization in Wichita and Newton.  In 2008, Cale was featured in an article about team fishing by Max Martin with CatchItKansas.com and has been featured in the Kansas Trooper Magazine.
